“Sarah" Said: "I had already planned on writing a testimonial for y'all, even though it has only been one visit, I have never met such a wonderful and helpful couple. If there were more people like y'all, the world we be such a better place. This is what health care should be like and I never thought I would find such a great place!! I am so elated!!! Y'all have saved my life LITERALLY and I will be happy to write very good things about you and Dr. W." "After battling with opiates for 3 years, I finally realized that the drugs were not helping me like I thought, but they were actually tearing my life apart. I spent all of my money on pain killers and my husband and I didn't even have money to pay our bills because of my spending. I finally realized I had a serious problem that I would need help to overcome it. I searched and searched for a doctor that took my insurance, but none of them would take it for opiate addiction. The prices I got for a first visit ranged anywhere from $400-$800 and that wasn't even including the medication...WHO can afford that? I could keep taking the pain killers and SPEND LESS! I finally found Dr. Whittingslow and the Augusta Buprenorphine Treatment center online and got in touch with Mindy, his office nurse/assistant. She made me feel so comfortable and welcome and told me about how affordable help would be with them. They went above and beyond to make sure I got in and got the help that I really needed, even though I was financially strapped. I have only been to one visit, but my life has changed in soo many ways already. I'm happy, I don't even have a single thought of abusing again, and I know that with the support of Dr. Whittingslow and Mindy that I can defeat this addiction and take my life back. These are WONDERFUL people and the world would be a much better place if there were more people that were as compassionate as these two. Healthcare should be about helping people, and not about trying to take their money. Dr. Whittingslow is passionate about helping people overcome these addictions. If you have an opiate addiction, DO NOT BE SCARED. Call Dr. Whittingslow and he will turn your life around, I give you my word."

"Max" says: "ABT has absolutely gotten my life back to where I can
function as I used too be fore my addiction began. They have made me
feel so comfortable and more like a family relationship rather than your
normal doctor-patient experience. This was the first time I have ever done something like this, but as long as YOU, yourself is committed to the
program, it really works and takes effect immediately. So there is
essentially no down time, and the cravings have been completely gone
since I started. The experience I had was simple, thorough, and to the
point. Not a whole lot of unnecessary rederrick. I would definitely
recommend this to anyone that needed help, because of how easy and
painless the process is, as long as your committed to quitting! I have saved tons of money and felt way better physically and mentally. Thanks ABT for actual caring about the patients well-being and all of your help!

Opioid dependence is a treatable disease that affects millions of
people. If you or someone you know suffers from opioid dependency, we can help them gain control with suboxone treatment. Suboxone suppresses withdrawal symptoms, decreases cravings, and helps patients stay in treatment.
